4th of July

Here are some pictures of our 4th of July. We spent the day with Tink's aunt, uncle, cousins, and grandma. Daddy grilled an assortment of brats and chicken. For dessert we grilled bananas and had warm bananas with rocky road ice cream and whipped cream. Tink really loves whipped cream!
After lunch/dinner we did some noisemakers and sparklers even though it was still pretty light out. Then we drove home and watched the fireworks from our top deck. Before they started we did some more sparklers since it was dark out then. The fireworks were pretty far away and we had to make our own sound effects sometimes but Tink still seemed to enjoy them. Here are our pitures from our family grill out and noisemaking session.
I just want to add how blessed we feel to live in this country and how grateful we are to those who have sacrificed so much to allow us to have the priveledges we enjoy now! I can't hear any of the music for any of the armed forces without tearing up and feeling so grateful to those men and women. Daddy and I were so excited to teach Tink to put her hand over her heart during the Star Spangled Banner and to hear her say "America" for the first time! How blessed we are! Thank you to all of you who have and who continue to make our lives in America filled with everyday freedoms!!!!
