Sleeping = resting?

For a while Tink was sleeping really good on her toddler bed. Lately though she has been moving around a lot and causing herself some grief. One night I put her to bed and after she fell asleep I went downstairs to watch TV and spend time with Daddy. A while later I heard her crying and thought her cry sounded a little muffled. I ran upstairs and down the hall to her room where I found her legs on the bed but that she had fallen face first onto the pillow I put on the floor next to her bed. She was using her hands to try to hold herself up off the pillow. I quickly grabbed her and put her back on her bed where she promptly went right back to sleep.

Soon after that incident she slept through the night and I woke up around the 6am hour to use the restroom. As I walked by her room I looked in to find this:
I ran and told Daddy to come and look at her. Thankfully he grabbed the camera and we were able to get this adorable picture. It looks like she fell asleep praying. I put her back in her bed and wondered how long she had been sleeping like that. She slept for another couple of hours and stayed on her bed this time.

Last night after she fell asleep I again went downstairs to visit with Daddy and watch TV (of course). This time instead of crying she called "Mommy! Mom! Mommy!" I started up the stairs not too concerned since she wasn't crying, and wondered what woke her up. As I was coming down the hall I heard her call my name again and then say "Oh NO!" I had to repress a giggle because she hardly ever says oh no. I wondered outloud if she had fallen out of bed again. As I walked into her room and my eyes adjusted to the dim light I saw her laying on her back and her head was halfway off the bed. She was doing a great job pulling herself back onto the bed. After she was laying on the bed again she asked for her water and after taking a drink went right back to sleep.

Her little legs hang off her bed a lot lately and she tosses and turns so much. It is cute to see all the positions she gets herself in. So I continue to make sure there is a pillow next to her bed just in case she gets some momentum going before she throws herself off her bed next time, because chances are she will fall off that bed yet again.
